After a great night’s sleep woke up and broke camp to head back into the park. Spent a good part of the day exploring around the park. After that went to check out the Summit Campground a small campground on the back edge of the national park maintained by the Dakota Prairie Grasslands. Should have stayed here the night before too. Would have avoided all that gunk still stuck up under the truck that keeps plopping out like big dog turds. Anyway, it was a real nice spot and surprisingly being a holiday weekend I had it to myself. A couple hikers stopped by and did the trail behind it and occasionally someone would stop and use the vault toilet but no other campers came by and set up.
